The New Braunfels Republican Women’s Organization awards two Linden Anderson Scholarships each year. Information about the Linden Anderson Scholarships, as well as information about scholarships and internships awarded by other state and national Republican women’s organizations can be found below.
NEW BRAUNFELS REPUBLICAN WOMEN (NBRW) – LINDEN ANDERSON SCHOLARSHIP
Linden Anderson was president of New Braunfels Republican Women from 1991 – 1992 at the age of 84. She served as a Red Cross Recreational Director in military hospitals in England during WWII and later in Korea and elsewhere.
Two $500 scholarships are offered to two female students, one graduating from Canyon High School and one graduating from New Braunfels High School, with preference to those majoring in global studies, politics, or government service.
